Ok ladies, I know we all have our way of doing things, but I would appreciate feedback on what works for ya'll for the following:
1. What do you do when student's paper is TOTALLY blank at the end of your WW time?
2. What do you do with their paper when they are "done". Do you keep it, send it home............?
Totally blank should not be happening- a picture should at least be done. I would certainly work one on one with the student to see if I can get to the bottom of the issue. Are they unsure of themselves? Are they wasting their time? What?
ReplyDeleteWe are never done in Writing. They have a writing folder in Becky Lamb's class right now and one side of the folder says Working On It.. and the other side says "Done With It.. For Now"
As the year goes on and we start to learn more about the craft of writing we will go back to the "Done With It...For Now" stories and work on them more- finding words to change, adding spaces, rewriting the beginning or ending etc.
